Volver: Bulk Price Edit & Undo
Terms of service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
1. The service
Volver: Bulk Price Edit & Undo ("Volver") is a Shopify app published by Swicelso OÜ ("we"). It edits products, variants, collections, customers and orders of your Shopify store in bulk, shows a preview of every change before writing, keeps a journal of previous values, and lets you undo a task within its retention window. By installing Volver you accept these terms.
2. Your account
Volver runs inside your Shopify admin and acts on your store only with the permissions you grant at installation: products and inventory, shipping profiles, collections and sales channels, customers, orders, draft orders and their fulfillments, metaobjects and discount codes (read and write), each used only by the editor you open. You are responsible for who can access your Shopify admin and therefore Volver.
3. Plans and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing; it edits up to 10 products, or 10 collections, customers, orders or metaobjects, per task.
- The paid plans (Basic 8.99 USD, Professional 17.99 USD, Advanced 44.99 USD, Enterprise 89.99 USD per 30 days, or 80.90 USD, 161.90 USD, 404.90 USD, 809.90 USD per year paid at once, 25% less) are billed by Shopify through the Shopify Billing API. When you leave a yearly plan, Shopify states on its approval page whether the new plan starts at once or when the year already paid ends. You approve the charge on a Shopify page; Volver never sees your payment details. Each plan sets how many products or collections one task may edit; the number of tasks is never limited.
- Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, once per store: it starts with the store's first paid subscription, Shopify charges nothing before it ends, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing. Changing plan during the trial keeps the days left; after the trial, a new subscription starts without one.
- You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Plans & Pricing. A downgrade takes effect immediately and the unused part of the period is credited pro rata by Shopify.
- Uninstalling the app stops the subscription. You will not be charged after that.
- Every plan change is listed, with its date and time, in the subscription history of Plans & Pricing.
- Reverts, retries and re-runs are never charged.
4. What you confirm
Nothing is written to your store until you confirm a preview. The preview shows, for every matching variant, the current value and the new value, and how many rows will change, stay the same or are blocked. You are responsible for reviewing the preview before starting a task.
5. Backups and undo
Before each write, Volver saves the previous value. A task can be undone while its journal is retained (Free: 30 days, Basic: 60 days, Professional: 90 days, Advanced: 180 days, Enterprise: 365 days from the task's creation; at most 30 days after uninstalling). If a value changed after the task ran, the undo dialog shows it first and lets you skip or overwrite it. Undo is best effort: Shopify may reject a write (for example a negative price), in which case the row is reported as failed.
6. Data processing
For the store data Volver handles — products, customers, orders and the other resources you edit — you are the controller and Swicelso OÜ is your processor. We process that data only to run the tasks, previews, exports and imports you start, and for no other purpose; we keep it confidential, give access only to the people who operate the service, and protect it with encryption in transit and at rest. Our sub-processors are Fly.io (application servers, database and Tigris file storage, Paris region), Upstash (job queue), Google (Gemini API, for the AI writing changes you choose: product fields only); we will not add one without updating the privacy policy. We help you answer your customers' requests through Shopify's data request and erasure webhooks, notify you without undue delay of a security incident affecting your data, and delete it as the privacy policy describes after you uninstall Volver.
7. Acceptable use
You may use Volver only on stores you are authorized to manage and in compliance with Shopify's terms. Do not use it to circumvent Shopify API limits, to process data you have no right to process, or to interfere with the service.
8. Availability
Tasks run in the background within Shopify's API rate limits and resume automatically after a throttle. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it; maintenance and incidents may delay tasks. Support is provided by email on business days.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Volver is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for Volver in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You can uninstall Volver at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms or of Shopify's policies. Section 5 of the privacy policy describes what happens to your data after uninstalling.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
